HURT THE DAY AFTER A WORKOUT or NOT SO MUCH?
ARE YOU WORKING HARD ENOUGH?
Here is the deal. When you first start working it you might not be able to sit down without support, or walk without wanting to cry.
After you have been working out for a while, when you do a good workout you will feel it, just not as intensely. So trust me....there will be a day when you love that feeling the next day!
It shows you pushed yourself and makes you proud!
HERE IS WHY YOUR MUSCLES HURT!
When muscles are required to work harder and change your exercise routine, or increase the duration or intensity of your regular workout.than they're used to, or in a different way, it is believed to cause microscopic damage to the muscle fibres, resulting in muscle soreness or stiffness.
The soreness you feel is part of your body adapting that leads to greater stamina and strength as the muscles recover and build. If you don't push yourself hard, you’re unlikely to be sore after your next exercise session.
So as I always say...
If you are not sore...you are not working hard enough.
Push yourself and get results!
