TOAST? Are you serious?
Well, if you have been following me, you know I have had some dietary issues from my workouts and eating. I'm finally, through research, discovering that I have been doing it all wrong.
Have I been eating healthy? Yes
Who else out there thinks, like me...CARBS ARE THE ENEMY?
Well, I'm find out that part of the reason I have been having issues is because my
BODY IS STARVING FOR CARBS!!!
The absolute best time of day that you can eat carbs, know that you are fueling your body and eat carbs without guilt? RIGHT AFTER YOUR INTENSE WORKOUT
Part of the rule is you have to work out your hardest. You have to push you body as far as you possibly can...THEN
EAT CARBS :) Healthy carbs of course....
What are healthy carbs? If you are doing the 21 day fix, it is all the carbs on the list :)
-Steel cut oatmeal, not the packages
-100% Whole grain bread
-Sweet potatoes
-Quinoa
-Peas
-Brown Rice
So, make sure you are eating a good dose of carbs after your workout in the morning or evening..you have plenty of choices.
Up to an hour after your workout is the GOLDEN WINDOW!
You should be sure that you have at least 45 - 60 carbs after a good workout!
So....now...EAT CARBS WITHOUT GUILT!
